"Counting Up" - Workshop Day At The Exhibit - Pessach 2025
Thanks to everyone who came to Kol HaOt for a day of crafting and creating based on the new exhibit “Counting Up.” The exhibit features artists’ and designers’ interpretations of the idea of counting, in relation to the Omer and in relation to contemporary Israeli society, particularly within the context of the war. Our participants could make their own unique woven Omer counter, inspired by the works displayed on the walls. There was also an illustration workshop with exhibit artists Rotem Codish along with a drumming workshop called "Counting the Beat". The exhibit itself also includes various activities, with a Twister-like game based on David Moss's monumental Omer piece, and a spot where each visitor can take home seven stickers featuring pieces from the exhibit, bringing the artwork with them for the rest of this period of ritual counting.
